Growing up in Bend, Oregon, I have always found myself involved in the arts. Early on, it was ceramics, jewelry and theatre. During college,I gravitated to the commercial arts at The Museum Art School in Portland, then to Fort Wright College in Spokane, Washington with a degree in Performing Arts.
After serving as artistic director of Sumus Theatre Ensemble in Portland for 20 years, I branched out into freelance commercial work and the film industry. For the past 30 years, I have been producing my own body of work as an artist working in oil paint.
I consider myself a “colorist”, working in a very loose style. My subject matter varies from the Oregon High Desert, cityscapes, portraits and still-lifes. My work can be found in many public and private collections in Oregon, The United States and in Europe.
